<p>The appliance has an electronic control device for performing different control functions by triggering corresponding switching elements. An acoustic signal transmitter i.e. electronic tone generator, generates tones of different acoustic frequencies and/or amplitudes. The transmitter generates tones of different pitches, acoustic waveforms, sound levels and/or sound level envelopes. The control functions are associated with different acoustic signals that are stored as electronic information in an electronic storage.</p> |
