PURPOSE: A system and a method for informing school zone are provided to minimize a traffic accident in a school zone by informing a driver of child getting on/off. CONSTITUTION: In a system and a method for informing school zone, A transceiver communicates data with a GPS satellite(100) and a main server(400). A determination unit determines whether a vehicle enters a school zone based on GPs. A controller generates location information and controls the transceiver which transmits the position information of the main server.
