TNL CONNECTION SETUP METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR BASE STATION USING DOWNLINK RECEIVER

PURPOSE: A TNL(Transport Network Layer) connection method of A base station and apparatus thereof which uses a downlink receiver are provided to reduce the complexity of dynamic TNL connection by using additional downlink receiver. CONSTITUTION: A peripheral cell downlink reception control unit(312) monitors the PCI(Physical Cell Identity) value of a monitoring cell. An SON(Self Organizing Network) agent(320) obtains the IP address of a subbase station corresponding to the changed PCI value. A base station controller(330) decides whether to setup the connection of a new TNL based on the obtained IP address.
