Curtain applicator comprises outer nozzle walls (18, 19) having a nozzle body, which forms the separate medium streams for the layers to be applied. The nozzle has a distribution chamber and a flow channel respectively extending along a discharge width for the medium streams, which discharges the coating medium via an outlet channel as a combined curtain (8). The flow channels are formed in the region of the outlet channel from the outer nozzle walls of the nozzle body and internal separating blades (12, 13).
