PURPOSE: A heterogeneous network charging system and method thereof are provided to merge charging processes according to service use of heterogeneous network and to efficiently use heterogeneous network to a service subscriber. CONSTITUTION: A charging processing unit(40) transmits service stop request messages through a charging information transmitting unit. The charging processing unit transmits service stop release request messages through the charging information transmitting unit. A charging information storing unit(70) stores charging information through the charging processing unit.
