<p>The steel plant comprises a processing area (10) for melting steel scrap, and a material supply area (20) for collecting and loading steel scrap in which an electrical melting furnace (100) and an electrical crucible furnace (120) are arranged in a vertical top view manner in the processing area in such a way that the connection line passes diagonal to a first horizontal direction. An individual powerhouse (13) is arranged into the processing area in such a way that the connection line of the electrical melting furnace to the powerhouse passes vertically to the first horizontal direction. An individual powerhouse (13) is arranged into the processing area in such a way that the connection line of the electrical melting furnace to the powerhouse passes vertically to the first horizontal direction and the connection line of the powerhouse to the crucible furnace passes parallel to the first horizontal direction in which a first couple of scrap yards is arranged in a scrap yard arrangement direction next to each other and with a first scrap loading section between the scrap yards in the material supply area in the vertical top view manner and a second couple of scrap yards, which are arranged in the scrap yard arrangement direction next to each other and with a second scrap loading section between the scrap yards in such a way that the scrap loading section is aligned in a scrap transport direction, which is vertical to the scrap yard alignment direction. The processing area and the material supply area are relatively arranged to each other in such a way that an axis guides along the scrap transport direction by the scrap loading section over a charging area to the electrical melting furnace in the vertical top view manner. A continuous casting plant is arranged in the first horizontal direction next to the crucible furnace. A storage- and maintenance areas are arranged for the crucible furnace and the continuous casting plant in the first horizontal direction into the extension of the connection between the powerhouse and the crucible furnace.</p> |
