OPERATING SYSTEM FOR MASTER CHANNEL BASED ON WIRELESS PERSONAL AREA NETWORK AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A local area wireless network-based master channel operation system and method thereof are provided to continuously search for a master channel in consideration of inter-channel interference in a WPAN(Wireless Personal Area Network). CONSTITUTION: A host device(100) calculates the average energy density of previously designated service target channels. The host device sets up a service object channel of the lowest average energy density as a master channel. The host device transmits a beacon signal through the set master channel. A client device(200) searches for a beacon transmitting master channel. The client device stores channel information about one or more searched master channels.
