PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device and a driving method of the same are provided to prevent display failure by preventing the output of abnormal data in power on. CONSTITUTION: In a liquid crystal display device and a driving method of the same, the liquid crystal panel comprises a gate lines, a data line, a thin film transistor, and a liquid crystal capacitor The gate driving unit supplies a scan signal to a gate lines and supplies data signal to the data lines. The data driving unit comprises a D- IC(142), and a plurality of input lines(IL) and a plurality of output lines(OL) A D-IC comprises an output buffer which supplies gamma voltages to each data line. The output buffer includes a plurality of operational amplifiers(OA). The operational amplifier amplifies the data signal. The timing controller controls the gate driving unit and the data driver and supplies the data signal to the data driving unit. A power supply unit supplies a driving power.
