<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily wearable apron for carrying a child on the back, causing no messiness in the vicinity of its waist part, and applicable even to independently use as an apron. <P>SOLUTION: The apron for carrying a child on the back comprises a baby holder 20 having a waist strap 23 joined to a shoulder belt 21 hung crossing from the shoulder to the breast and tied around the waist, and an apron 30 where insertion holes 31 through which both end parts of the waist strap 23 are threaded are formed at both sides of the waist parts. The neck strap part 32 of the apron gradually gets narrower from the base part to the tip end thereof.
