The flywheel (1) has a primary mass (3) accommodated on an output shaft (2) of an internal-combustion engine. A starter ring gear (4) is arranged at a disk part (8) and is axially rotatable between a housing (6) of the engine and the mass. The gear is tightly coupled with the mass based on direction of a moment transferred from a starter to the shaft and/or based on speed of the shaft. The gear and the disk part exhibit fastening units for frictional connection of the gear and the disk part in positive or material-fit manner in axial, radial and in circumferential directions.
