The electrical lamp (1) has an external piston supported in a socket (2). An installation lamp (4) such as a high voltage halogen lamp, is clamped within the external piston by an assembly-clip (6). The assembly clip is fixed at a circular base (5) exhibiting a lower cylindrical region (8) and an upper region (9). A cross section area of the upper region is smaller than that of the lower region. The assembly clip is fixed to the upper region of the circular base.
