PURPOSE: A driving protection system using a weight sensor is provided to improve the stability of a vehicle by activating a safety control function according to signals from the weight sensor installed in a driver seat. CONSTITUTION: A driving protection system using a weight sensor comprises a sensor unit(100), a safety control unit(200), and a driving control unit(300). The sensor unit outputs a first sensing signal by sensing the weight of a driver and a second sensing signal by sensing the driving motion. The safety control unit is activated by the first and second sensing signals from the sensor unit and outputs a first or second safety control signal. The driving control unit controls engine output according to the first safety control signal and controls power according to the second safety control signal. |
