PURPOSE: A friction stir welding machine is provided to precisely control the movement of a rotation tool by using a motor and a hydraulic cylinder as a drive unit instead of a belt. CONSTITUTION: A friction stir welding machine comprises a base plate(100), a first drive unit(200), a second drive unit(300), and a support frame(500). The first drive unit is coupled to the base plate and vertically moves a rotation tool(620) for performing spot welding. A hydraulic cylinder(210) is installed in the first drive unit. The second drive unit is connected to the first drive unit and horizontally moves the rotation tool for performing pitch welding. The support frame vertically supports an object.
