An interactive display (100) device with optical recognition (107, 111) of touching of display surface (101) in which an image is formed on a display (102) at which pointing can be made by a finger or other objects (112). Pointing objects (112) are detected by a machine view arrangement (107, 111) behind the display surface (101) within a casing (104) of the interactive display (100). Inside the casing (100), there is an infrared light reflection inhibitor (109) configured to substantially reduce the amount of infrared light that can reflect back and forth within the casing (104) to an extent that the optical recognition is excessively interfered. The infrared light reflection inhibitor (109) contains one or more refractive and/or reflective elements to redirect incoming infrared light such that the amount of residual light that can interfere the optical recognition is sufficiently reduced to allow the optical recognition even in bright daylight. |
