The claimed composite material comprises a collagen matrix which is mineralized with silicate and a calcium phosphate phase, said collagen being a recombinate collagen, collagen from Eumetazoa, sponge collagen from a sponge of the Demospongia class (horn sponges) or Calcarea (calcareous sponges), a synthetic collage analog, a collagen derivative or a mixture of said collagens.
