Zinc oxide-free, sulfur-crosslinkable rubber mixture (I) comprises 80-100 phr (parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of rubber) of at least one synthetic diene rubber and 0.1-5 phr of at least one dithiocarbamate accelerator. An independent claim is included for tire, where at least a part of tread of tire is made of (I) that is vulcanized with sulfur.
