PURPOSE: A case for portable electronic apparatus is provided to implement various colors in low illumination environment and to implement various visual effects. CONSTITUTION: A frame(121) is attached to the inside of an external cover. A color converting liquid crystal display device(101) is disposed between the external cover and the frame. A lighting device(103) includes a light guide plate, a light source, and a flexible printed circuit. The lighting device is disposed between the color converting liquid crystal display and the external cover. The external cover is manufactured as the synthetic resin of transparent material.
