PRE-TREATMENT DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DESALINATION

PURPOSE: A pre-processing apparatus for a seawater desalination process in a reverse osmosis mode, and a method thereof are provided to improve the stability of membrane-filtered processed water. CONSTITUTION: A pre-processing apparatus for a seawater desalination process in a reverse osmosis mode includes a separation membrane filtration tank(10), and a circulation type concentration settling tank(20). The separation membrane filtration tank includes a filter membrane(11) for generating concentrated water by a membrane-filtering process. The filtered water is supplied to a reverse osmosis device(100). The concentrated water flows from the filtration tank to the concentration settling tank for precipitating contaminants.
