PURPOSE: A laundry processor and the driving method thereof are provided to reduce the amount of washing water supplied to a washing tub. CONSTITUTION: A spray nozzle injects water to a washing tub. A water supply flow path is fastened to the spray nozzle. The water supply flow path supplies the water from outside. A sensing unit(156) senses the amount of the laundry within the washing tub. A water supply valve(162) is arranged in the water supply flow path. If the amount of the detected laundry is a set laundry amount, the water supply valve controls the opening time of the water supply flow path.
