[Also in Division G4] An indicator light assembly comprises a part to be secured to the rear face of a control panel and having compartments each to receive one of a plurality of light bulbs, each compartment or each of all but one of the compartments having a differently coloured light filter, and a lamp holder assembly securable to the part so that a bulb is positioned in each compartment, all the compartments opening into a conical recess leading to a single common aperture in the panel, the bulbs being symmetrically disposed to the aperture. In the form shown, a cylindrical body 12 is secured to the rear of a panel 10 having a window 11 and has a conical recess 16 facing the window. Three holes 15 in the body 12 receive bulbs 32 in lampholders 31 mounted on an assembly of insulating discs 25- 28 held apart by spacers. Each hole 15 is closed in front by a different coloured filter 20 although one filter may be colourless or omitted. The assembly is clamped together by a tube 24 having a head 29 and nut 30. A threaded rod 18 passes through the tube 24 and the body 12 to secure these together. The body 12 is secured to the panel by bolts 13. The lamps 32 are separately wired, the wires passing through hollow spacers 33. The whole assembly may be enclosed in a removable cover. |
