PURPOSE: An audio signal processing apparatus and method, and a terminal apparatus are provided to reduce the data processing time of a broadband codec by efficiently sharing the data between the software and hardware processing modules in a system that process a broadband codec with dedicated hardware logic. CONSTITUTION: A monitoring unit(130) monitors new data saved in a system memory(35). A local memory(145) stores the data to a separate storage which is physically different from the system memory. If the input of the new data is detected, a local memory controller(140) reads the new data and stores in the local memory. The local memory controller transmits result value stored in the local memory to the system memory.
