ELASTIC PILE FOR RAILROAD-BED FROSTBITE REDUCTION AND THIS CONSTRUCTION TECHNIQUE

PURPOSE: An elastic pile structure for decreasing railway roadbed frost and a construction method thereof are provided to decrease uplift due to freezing of a track in the winter by absorbing heaving pressure due to frost in the winter by driving an elastic pile below railway roadbed. CONSTITUTION: An elastic pile structure for decreasing railway roadbed frost comprises roadbed(10), a plurality of elastic piles(20), gravel ballast(30), sleeper(40) and a rail(60). The elastic pile is attached to the roadbed. The gravel ballast is attached to the elastic pile to a fixed thickness. The sleeper is attached to the top of the gravel ballast. The rail is fixed onto the sleeper by a fastener(50).
