<p>Bioabsorbable occlusion device (1), which is introduced by a catheter in a folded condition in a patient's body, where the occlusion device in an area of its surrounding envelope comes to a constriction, which on one side causes the anchoring, as the proximal and distal retention areas (18, 19) are not affected by this constriction and alternatively, the defect is closed so that at the conclusion of the implantation process a variable final shape is formed, which no longer coincides with the permanent initial form of the occlusion device, is claimed.
