In an assembly line for loading a pharmaceutical substance in a syringe, a conveyor features a vertical section, thus facilitating the upward transportation of empty syringe tubes using a conveyor with a relatively small footprint. The conveyer features pivotably mounted delivery buckets on a conveyor belt, wherein the delivery buckets can be quickly and efficiently detached using a quick release mechanism. This allows the buckets to be removed and sterilised in a speedy and efficient manner. A guide rail system is also provided to control the pivoting of the delivery buckets along the route of the syringe tube conveyer. |
