PURPOSE: A construction method of a sidewalk extension device is provided to improve field adaptability and workability by making a support beam lightweight and setting size according to field conditions and offering components rapidly and easily. CONSTITUTION: A construction method of a sidewalk extension device comprises the steps of: installing a base to a construction structure installed to a bank using a long bolt; installing a support beam by welding one end of a flat portion and a vertical portion of a support beam to a main body of the base; installing a reinforcement member to the upper and lower parts of the vertical portion of the support beam using a bolt and a nut; installing each reinforcement rib by welding one side of a reinforcement rib to the base and the other side to the side of the vertical portion of the support beam; arranging horizontally and fixing plural support pipes on the upper part of the support beam at regular intervals; fixing plural support plates to the support pipes using fixing pieces; fixing a shield member to the other end of the support beam where the support plates are installed; and fixing a finishing member to the front end of the support beam. |
