The scale (1) has a cover (11) for covering a foot plate, and a mounting device arranged around the entire periphery of the cover and operably connected with the foot plate. The mounting device is provided with a protrusion protruding into the periphery of the cover parallel to a front surface of the foot plate. An end of another protrusion is arranged at a distance from the former protrusion and extends to the front surface of the foot plate in a direction transverse to the former protrusion, where the cover is made of transparent elastic material.
