The method involves controlling heating systems (A, B, C, D), which are influenced by an information signal that represents a temperature of a direct external environment (2) of the heating systems, where speed of a pump of the heating system is regulated. The information signal is supplied to a temperature sensor, which measures the temperature in direct external environment, and to a central unit, which is removed from the heating system. A control unit (4) of the heating system is supplied with the information signal, which is determined from weather statistics and/or weather forecast data. An independent claim is also included for a regulating device of heating systems.
