FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to composite plates used for construction of static structures. Said plate consists of a core and sheet paper lining laminated onto, at least, one face surface of the core with the help of water-based glue. Said core comprises pearlite, binder, and cellulose fiber, and is produced from water suspension. Note here that said core consists of the matrix formed by cellulose fiber and binder in gaps between pearlite particles, said cellulose fibers being fixed relative to each other and to pearlite particles that have inner cavities. In compliance with the first version, pearlite particles feature density varying from 5 to 15 pounds per cubic feet and occupy, at least, 50 wt % of total volume of the core, while total amount of pearlite and cellulose fiber in the core makes, at least, 25 vol. %. In compliance with the second version, pearlite particles feature density varying from 3 to 15 pounds per cubic feet, pearlite makes 15 to 40 wt % of the core, cellulose fiber makes 10 to 30 wt % of the core, and binder makes 5 to 15 wt % of the core.
