PROCESS FOR PRODUCING A OIL FILTER HOUSING BY USING AN PRI-COATED STEEL PLATE AND AUTOMOBILE OIL FILTER HOUSING MANUFACTURED BY THIS PROCESSING

PURPOSE: An oil filter housing and manufacturing method of the same using organic coated steel strip is provided to prevent swelling of top coating surface by maintaining uniform heating temperature in a mold. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of an oil filter housing using organic coated steel strip is as follows. A PCM(Pre-Coated Metal) steel sheet is drawn in first and second times. The volatility drawing oil spreads on a top coating surface. The PCM steel sheet cuts into proper sixed pieces by a blanking punch and mounted on a blanking pad. An upper mold(103) moves downward in order to form the PCM steel sheet a rounded cap shape. The firstly drawn product is formed in the shape of oil filter housing by grip punching and a second punching. The mold maintains in temperature of figure 30~60 in order to naturally vaporize drawing oil without the deformation of the PCM steel sheet due to high temperature during the first and second drawing steps.
