FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary and is applied for preventing leukemia of livestock (PLL). Method of preventing leukemia of livestock includes complex health improvement of animals. Additionally cows with seven-month term of pregnancy and (or) calves at the age of 2-3 months are parenterally introduced polymeractive medication polycarboxyethylene in dose 0.2 mg/kg of body weight one time daily for 3 days with interval in every three days and intervals between courses 2 weeks. Control of immune status indices is carried out with periodicity of 14 days. ^ EFFECT: insuring effective increase of immune status of animals at the background of normalisation of exchange processes, reduction of postnatal infection with livestock leukaemia virus by 10%, reduction of morbidity, increase of young animals of livestock preservation, increase of calf body weight gain. ^ 3 tbl, 2 ex |
