<p>Cosmetic article comprises (A) a water insoluble substrate comprising one or more layers; and (B) a composition added to or impregnated onto the substrate, in oil-in-water emulsion form comprising an oily phase dispersed in an aqueous phase, where the composition comprises: at least one thickening polymer; and at least one surfactant comprising lauric acid esters, and/or lauryl alcohol esters. Cosmetic article comprises (A) a water insoluble substrate comprising one or more layers; and (B) a composition added to or impregnated onto the substrate, in oil-in-water emulsion form comprising an oily phase dispersed in an aqueous phase, where the composition comprises: at least one thickening polymer derived from the polymerization of at least one monomer (a) comprising carboxylic acids having alpha , beta -ethylenic unsaturation or their esters with at least one monomer (b) having ethylenic unsaturation containing at least one hydrophobic group; and at least one surfactant comprising lauric acid esters, and/or lauryl alcohol esters. An independent claim is included for cosmetic method of skin care, cleaning and/or removing makeup from the skin, comprising applying the article on the skin.</p> |
