The shield (1) has primary and secondary metallic blades (5, 6) arranged parallel to each other. The blades are arranged into primary and secondary metallic blade groups. The primary groups of the blades are realized in a ductile shielding material i.e. shielding steel. The secondary groups of the blades are realized in another ductile shielding material that is lighter than the former material. The secondary blades are distributed along a pitch between the primary blades distributed along another pitch, where height of the secondary blades is lower than height of the primary blades.
