The element has zones (4) made up of a core material (6). Another zone (2) made up of core material and skin material (8) with distinct hardness. The latter zone comprises a core material layer that is interposed between two skin material layers, where a thickness of the latter zone is higher than a thickness of the former zone. The thickness of the former zone roughly lies between 1 and 5 mm. The skin material layer of the former zone comprises a moldable thermoplastic material e.g. thermoplastic polyolefins or elastomers, by injection. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a molded element.
