PURPOSE: A novel mutated nucleic and protein in metabolism pathway of fine chemicals is provided to enhance organic substance productivity. CONSTITUTION: A protein having physiological function of 5-methyltetrahydrofolate homocystein methyltrasferase has an amino acid sequence of sequence number 90. An isolated nucleic acid construct contains a nucleic acid encoding the protein. A method for preparing genetically-modified non-human organic substance comprises: the nucleic acid encoding the protein; and a step of introducing a promoter to non-human parental organic substance to transforming the parental organic substance. The fine chemical is an amino acid substance.
