SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR IDENTIFYING AND CLASSIFYING THE RESISTANCE GENE IN PLANT USING THE HIDDEN MARKOV MODEL

PURPOSE: A system for identifying/classifying resistive gene of plants using HMM and a method thereof are provided to efficiently identify a unknown resistance gene candidate group from massive plant sequences by using the HMM. CONSTITUTION: A processing unit identifies a domain for ciphering resistive gene from an inputted sequence and classifies the resistive gene by using profile matrix. A database stores the identified/classified resistive gene. An input unit inputs protein or nucleotide sequence for finding the domain. The processing unit identifies the domain by using HMM(Hidden Markov Model) of the resistive gene. An output unit indicates a gene structure and a search result of the resistive gene, and a tree/sequence alignment result with the similar gene.
