TAG COLLECTION METHOD USING AN IDENTIFIED SLOT SCAN PROCESS IN RFID SYSTEMS

PURPOSE: A tag collection method using an identified slot scan process in an RFID system is provided to reduce the RF communication task which receives commands from a tag and transmits the responses. CONSTITUTION: A reader receives tag response according to the scan command. The reader classifies a recognized slot and an empty slot in a frame based on the received tag response. The reader creates a scan bitmap including the classified slot information. The reader classifies the recognition slot in the frame. The reader broadcasts collect commands including the classified recognition information to the collection command tags. The reader collects the ID information and the additional data from the tag which selects the recognition slot.
