PURPOSE: A point accumulation server in a point accumulation system and a point accumulation method using the same are provided that enable the accumulation of points corresponding to a credit card number by transmitting the credit card number and payment information to the point accumulation server. CONSTITUTION: A point accumulation method in a point accumulation system comprises the steps of: receiving a payment card number from a franchise terminal(S42); determining whether the payment card number has already been registered(S46); determining the membership number, if the payment card number has already been registered, corresponding to the payment card number; requesting the payment approval of the payment card corresponding to the payment card number and receiving the payment information according to the payment approval from the franchise terminal; determining the ratio of accumulation with reference to the franchise information included in the payment information; and updating the accumulated points by calculating the accumulation points according to the ratio of accumulation. |
