The vehicle has a floor mounted on a chassis, and a seat fixing crossmember transversely installed on the floor. The crossmember comprises an upper fixation part arranged at a right side of a side opening of a body and spaced from the floor on which a base (73) of a seat (7) is mounted for maintaining the seat base above the floor. The seat base and the floor define a transversal space (E), and the floor is elevated with respect to the chassis to bring the upper fixation part of the crossmember above a level of a bottom edge (33), so that the space is laterally unblocked in the side opening.
