The floor has a floor wall (1) partially covered with a trim element. The trim element has an acoustic element (51) i.e. flexible and compressible polyurethane foam piece, arranged on the wall to absorb vibrations, and a stiffening element i.e. plate (7), to improve compressive strength of the trim element. The stiffening element is removably mounted on an upper surface (53) of the acoustic element, and distributes compressive force on the upper surface, where the upper surface is remote from the wall. The stiffening element is made of polypropylene, polystyrene or wood fiber.
