PURPOSE: An optical connector is easily implement an optical connector and optical cable connecting process at field by compressing a protecting cap for a ferrule and moving a core wire supporting unit. CONSTITUTION: A ferrule(100) includes a connecting core wire. The connecting core wire is expanded to one side. A core wire is in contact with the connecting core wire to be faced each other. The core wire and the connecting core wire are contained in a core wire supporting unit. A supporting unit inserting body(500) surrounds the core wire supporting unit. When the core wire supporting unit is moved to one direction with respect to the supporting unit inserting body, the contact of the connecting core wire and the core wire is fixed.
