PURPOSE: A TFT(Thin Film Transistor) LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device and a method for fabricating the same are provided to reduce the size and power consumption of the LCD device by supplying data signal to each pixel region around a data line. CONSTITUTION: A TFT LCD device comprises a gate line and a data line(203a) which are arranged in order to define pixel regions, a switching element which is arranged on the intersecting region of the gate line and the data line, pixel electrodes(209a,209b) which are arranged in the pixel region, a common line which is arranged around the gate line, and a common electrode(207a) which is branched to the same direction of the edge of the pixel region. |
