The present invention relates to: a billiards integrated service system using the Internet, which enables hours of playing experience for members to be improved in a more systematic fashion and allows various additional services in addition to the billiards service by providing a service not only off-line but also on-line by computerising a prior art off-line billiards service and associating it with an on-line service; and to a method for the same. The billiards integrated service system using the Internet according to the present invention comprises: billiard table terminals having: an input unit for receiving and supplying input in the form of game start/end time information and basic information including itemized information about billiards games from users, and receiving and supplying input in the form of information about the number of hits while the game is being played; a control unit for receiving, storing and outputting member information, basic game information and game start/end time information, and for calculating and updating and outputting score information and average score information about the billiards game based on the number-of-hits information; and having a main monitor for displaying member information, basic information, number-of-hits information and average score information output from the control unit; and a billiard hall management server, for integrated management of billiards games underway on the billiard tables, which has a billiard hall management program for managing the billiards games underway on billiard tables, and which calculates and displays billiards game usage charge information based on the game start/end time information output from the billiard table terminal, and stores and outputs and effects online provision of the usage charge information, member information, basic game information, number-of-hits information, score information and average score information, and the system also comprises: a co-ordinate outputting unit for continuously detecting and outputting, to the control unit, three-dimensional co-ordinate information about the billiard table, billiard balls and cues; a co-ordinate information database for storing the co-ordinate information; and a billiards instruction database on which is stored pathway information about the billiard balls and hitting-method information about the cue corresponding to the co-ordinate information, and the control unit also comprises: a guide unit wherein, once the co-ordinate information output from the co-ordinate outputting unit has been temporarily stored on the co-ordinate information database, this co-ordinate information is used as the basis for converting the shapes of the billiard balls and cues into three-dimensional moving-imaging simulation information which is output and reproduced on the main monitor, and wherein the co-ordinate information and member information including the member's average billiards score information are read out, and the basic information and the game start/end time information and the number-of-hits information input to the input unit is received, and the number-of-hits information is used as the basis for automatically calculating and updating and outputting score information and average score information about the billiards game being played by the members, and wherein billiard balls are identified in the sequence in which the billiard balls will move and pathway information and hitting-method information about the identified billiard balls is read out from the billiards instruction database and is converted to three-dimensional moving-image simulation information which is output to the main monitor, and wherein the pathway information output from the control unit is displayed on the upper surface of the billiard table and the hitting-method information is output as audio. |
