The tank has a cover part (2) comprising a continuous recess i.e. elongate hole, that opens into a bellows. The bellows is elastically deformable by difference between pressures in inner volume limited by the bellows and in inner volume limited by the tank and bellows such that the inner volume limited by the bellows is changeable. The bellows is made of lubricant-resistant elastomer, and has a recess connected with the continuous recess in an air-tight manner. The cover part is connected with a housing part (1) in a form-fit manner by screw connection, bayonet coupling or clip connection. An independent claim is also included for a transmission comprising a surge tank.
