PURPOSE: Mortar for attaching bricks is provided to prevent the damage or the separation of the bricks from a steel facility using electro-fused magnesia-chromium aggregate. CONSTITUTION: Mortar for attaching bricks is formed with 100parts of main material by weight including 80~100wt% of electro-fused magnesia-chromium aggregate and the balance of basic refractory aggregate, and 4~6parts of additive by weight. The mortar uses a silicate solution as a solvent. The electro-fused magnesia-chromium aggregate contains 20~40wt% of chromium. The silicate solution contains 20~25% of SiO2, and has the specific gravity of 1.2~1.3. The additive is water-soluble powder containing an entangling binder. |
