PURPOSE: An in-plane switching mode liquid crystal display device is provided to improve the light transmittance rate by rotating a liquid crystal layer on the upper part of a common electrode and a pixel electrode. CONSTITUTION: An in-plane switching mode liquid crystal display device comprises a first substrate(100), a second substrate(200), a liquid crystal layer which is formed between the first and the second substrates, a first common electrode(140) which is placed on the first substrate in parallel with a first pixel electrode(130), and a second common electrode(240) which is formed on the second substrate. The first and the second common electrodes are facing each other. |
