THERMAL LITHOGRAPHIC PRINTING PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal lithographic printing plate which maintains sufficient printing resistance and improved water retentivity (contamination resistance) which eliminates a printing failure caused by a head residue and image deformation caused by sticking phenomenon by using image forming layers which thermally causes phase convert and requires no layer removal process such as an abrasion method and an on-press development method.

SOLUTION: The thermal lithographic printing plate includes at least two image forming layers containing a water soluble high polymer compound and thermoplastic resin on its water-resistant support body. A ratio of compounds shown by formulas (1), (2), (3), and (4) to the water soluble high polymer compound in the image forming layer (A) which is closer to the water resistant support body is higher than a ratio in the image forming layer (B) which is the farthest from the water-resistant support body.
