<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage an article or a user or manage access to a conference room or the like at high speed. <P>SOLUTION: An access management device 10 includes an access processing part 11 and a storage device 120. The storage device 120 is provided with: a current status storage part for storing a character string indicating identification information of a management object present in a management area; and one or more history storage parts which are provided for each management object, and preserve at least one of an entry history including the time of entry to the management area and an exit history including the time of exit.
