<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform unbalance correction corresponding to the mass of laundry and the amount and phase of unbalance, to reduce vibrations and noise and to shorten dewatering time. <P>SOLUTION: The washing machine includes: a vibration detection means 17 for detecting the vibrations of a receiving cylinder 13; an unbalance estimation means 21 for estimating the size and position of unbalance; and a control means 22 for controlling a motor 12. The control means 22 is provided with an unbalance correction activation means 24 for performing acceleration to such a rotation speed that centrifugal force becomes larger than gravity applied to the laundry when the estimated size of the unbalance, which is the output of the unbalance estimation means 21, is equal to or larger than a preset threshold and the position of the unbalance is a preset position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
