<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jetting apparatus capable of suppressing the scattering of liquid discharged from a nozzle by flushing. <P>SOLUTION: An inkjet type printer includes: a recording head 15 for jetting ink on conveyed recording paper 13 from a nozzle 16 formed on a nozzle forming face 15a; and a platen member 18 facing the nozzle forming face 15a, arranged rotatably, and having a supporting face 31c for supporting the recording paper 13 and an ink absorbing material for absorbing the ink jetted from the nozzle 16. In the platen member 18, a maximum distance from the central axial line S in the vertical direction with respect to the nozzle forming face 15a to an absorbing face 30a when the absorbing face 30a being the surface of the ink absorbing material opposes the nozzle forming face 15a is longer than a maximum distance from the central axial line S in the vertical direction with respect to the nozzle forming face 15a to the supporting face 31c when the supporting face 31c opposes the nozzle forming face 15a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
