PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wastewater treatment method which is excellent in decolorizing effect and COD reducing effect and can improve workability and economic efficiency by directly using sludge generated in a large amount in a treatment process. SOLUTION: Iron and a reducing agent are added to and act on wastewater containing organic substances, and then hydrogen peroxide is additionally added to treat the wastewater, thereby improving the water quality of the final treated water. A part of sludge generated after the treatment is reused, thereby reducing time and labor and cost required for the wastewater treatment. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
